Charlotte is an elegant blouse with smocked panels on the front and back, a square neckline, and generous sleeves, gathered at the wrists with smocking or elastic. • Fabric with a width of 140 cm — yardage indicated for sizes 34 / 40 / 46 / 52:
  • Blouse, short sleeves: 1.40 / 1.90 / 2 / 2.10 m;
  • Blouse, long sleeves: 1.70 / 2.10 / 2.30 / 2.40 m;
  • Short dress, short sleeves: 1.80 / 2.10 / 2.30 / 2.40 m;
  • Short dress, long sleeves: 2 / 2.40 / 2.90 / 3 m;
  • Long dress, short sleeves: 2.30 / 2.80 / 3.30 / 3.50 m;
  • Long dress, long sleeves: 2.60 / 3.10 / 3.60 / 3.80 m.
• Matching thread;
• 1 spool of elastic thread;
• Optional, contrasting topstitching thread for the smocking;
• Optional, if the dress fabric is sheer: 1.20 m of lightweight fabric with a width of 140 cm to line the skirt (all sizes).

Recommended fabrics: light to medium-weight fabrics (cotton voile, cotton poplin, chambray, etc.). Choose a fabric without openwork or textures to make smocking easier; plumetis and eyelet lace are less suitable. For the optional skirt lining, choose a lightweight fabric such as cotton voile.
